About the role:
As a Manager, you assume responsibility to manage the entire analytical process, become an expert on the industry in the process, and support funds in helping them take investment decisions. Managers run one to two projects, have full ownership of the deliverables, and create client delight. In the process, you would assume leadership roles on your team - as such, your team's successes will also enhance your own personal results story.
Managers engage in interactions with Investment Principals and MDs at VC/PE/Private Credit funds and shape senior-level thinking. You provide answers, explain strategic implications, and help with analyses that often go into the Investment Committee memos for funds. As a Manager, you will be supporting business development through writing proposals and defining problem solving approaches tailored to the deal/client context.

Key characteristics of the role:

· Ownership of project delivery leading high-impact teams
· Driving through leadership in due-diligence (CDD, ODD, VDD), fund strategy and sector scan engagements and coming up with compelling approaches, frameworks, and solutions to client problems
· Driving high-quality research and analysis by teams
· Lead and deliver high-quality client presentations in projects
· Lead project delivery and manage delivery teams to drive client wow and delight
· Play an active part in recruitment and build high performance project delivery teams under you
Competencies and skills:
· Minimum 4 years of management consulting experience or equivalent at a reputed consulting firm working across due diligence (CDD, ODD, VDD), fund strategy and sector scan engagements
· Experience in investment thesis development, investment risk assessment and business plan modelling
· Proven track record in leading a team of at least 3-4 consulting team members
· Strong ability to frame a problem, define an approach to solving it using the consulting toolkit, and work planning for delivery
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; with strong ability to research, analyze and communicate key commercial value drivers
· Excellent communication skills and client management skills
· Ability to understand the client's needs and develop trusted relationships
· Ability to create impactful proposals for specific projects with a tailored approach
Educational and other requirements:
· Graduate degree with strong academic performance, preferably with a strong analytical background
· MBA from a top-tier institute preferred—such as Ivy League B-schools in the US, IIMs (A, B, C, L, I, K), ISB, XLRI, FMS, and SP Jain
· Consistent track record of academic excellence
· Demonstrated leadership in both educational and professional settings with high drive and energy
